The annual International CCR Summit successfully addresses synergies between stakeholders, policymakers versus operations and multi agency collaboration.
In a 2-day program with 3 parallel streams of interactive Summit Break-Out Sessions, Masterclasses & Workshops current challenges will be assessed, discussed and addressed using (inter)national showcases.
The Netherlands was the first to have a country-wide TETRA network (C2000) and a system of 25 joint control rooms for police, fire and ambulance. In 2015 a national police force is in place and control rooms are being merged into one single organization.
How does this affect the public safety for citizens? What are the benefits and results? What are the lessons learned? How can we prevent overload in bureaucracy that often occures with strong centralised governance models?
Furthermore the rising of ISIS. The recent terrorist attacks such as in France and Denmark and the increasing unrest in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa have changed the world dramatically. This situation demands more effective measures, extra resources and above all international and multi-agency co-operation as well as a strong focus on local prevention and resilience strategies.
During this years Summit we will reflect on the most remarkable developments with visionary stakeholders providing an overview of the past & future.
